3rd Annual Butler Street YMCA, in partnership with KISS 104.1, Radio-Thon
What: Butler Street YMCA as a part of its annual giving campaign will partner with KISS 104.1-FM, Atlanta’s Old School R&B station to hold the third Annual KISS 104.1 Butler Street YMCA Radio-Thon. Local radio veteran and host of the KISS 104.1’s “Spotlight Gold”, Youngblood will broadcast live for twelve straight hours in an effort to recognize the contributions of the Butler Street YMCA to the Atlanta community while raising funds to sustain Butler Street’s programs that support kids in the community.
When: Saturday, March 24, 2007-7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: KISS 104.1 Studios, 1601 West Peachtree Street, NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, featuring, The Spotlight Gold Show” hosted by Youngblood.
Why: To sustain Butler Street YMCA’s quality programs which contribute to the strengthening of families, the healthy development of children, positive individual behavior and a healthier, safer community for all. These programs emphasize caring, respect, honesty, responsibility, character-building, fun and community by involving individuals and families of all ages, abilities, genders, incomes and races. Butler Street YMCA is one of seven remaining heritage YMCA’s in the United States.
